PARKING 411
With the continued growth of The Gulch area (thats what they call this area of Nashville), parking continues to be a challenge, although less of one. We want to thank everyone for making their way to our humble little club. Youve trekked through the construction and across sloppy parking lots. Youve told us how much it helped when theyve added more parking, paved the lots, put in the park benches, stylish street lights, crosswalks, etc.
Weve included parking maps here on the site (see below) and in the club. Most recently, weve been reserving the parking area directly behind the club exclusively for Station Inn guests. Theres now parking with a two blocks of he club for well over 1,500 cars. Yep, it still gets crowded sometimes and it certainly doesnt mean that theyre all here in the club.
By the way, we haven't made a big deal about it, but the valet parking just across the street isn't specific to any one restaruant or club. Pull up over there and these guys & gals will do the rest. They'll bring it back to you, too. Be sure to take care of them. They work for tips and literally run to get cars back to customers quickly all night long. I get winded just watching them.
The area directly behind the club and also just beyond 11th street is parking for about 1,200 cars. Up 12th avenue toward Broadway and left onto Laurel, you'll find an additional lot and you'll find on-street parking everywhere. Thanks for stepping up to the challenge and making us part of your bluegrass and roots music fun.
